The "Frame" part of our name
Some of the more interesting work we do is frame lengthening and shortening. We can take a full frame truck and double or even triple it's length. Stretching the frame structure of a truck is an involved process that includes no only lengthening the steel frame, but also lengthening airlines, electrical wires, hydraulic lines and, drive shafts.
We use only hi-tensile (Grade 80 or 100) cold formed steel rails for our new frame rails. Rails are spliced using a "V" cut and reinforcment sleeve is extended well ahead of and behind the splice and bolted using frame flange bolts.
We also get passenger cars or trucks in for frame correction or even replacement. Our heavy duty frame racks can apply several tons of pressure to help restore the correct shape and dimensions to a bent frame. Jobs that come off our frame racks usually exceed the factory specifications and dimensions.
We have tried to demonstrate just what top notch frame repair involves and why we think our technicians are some of the best at doing this kind of work. Click on any of the links below to see details of each job
