Convertible Top
One part of the original car that was in need of complete replacement was the convertible top. The frame had rusted solid, the chrome and wood pieces were damaged beyond repair.
Our customer was looking for an older classic look to the car so we opted to install a canvas top rather than the factory vinyl top. The canvas give the whole car a richer look.
Chuck's Convertible Specialties was outsourced to handle our top restoration. The rusted top frame and rear window was sent to them and we got back a completely restored, ready to install top including all chrome, latches and rubber seals. It took nearly four months to get our top back, but the wait was worth it.
